Hello! I want to know if you have more information about this blue screen? I tried changing ACHI to ATA and i still got the BSOD. I reinstalled Windows under ATA configuration and nothing happen. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteFor anyone who is getting similar problems by installing Win 7 on this laptop (Dell Inspiron N4050). I've made this, and it solved all my problems:
ReplyDelete- Change AHCI to ATA mode on F2 Bios Setup.
- Format then install Windows 7 (i used Ultimate x64 SP1). When the setup is finished, do not restart.
- Downlad the Bios update and install it (http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/product/inspiron-14-intel-n4050)
- When the bios setup is complete, reset and then install all necesary drivers.
Additional: I only downloaded and installed the WIFI/Bluetooth driver (the 311mb one) and then update the others drivers from Windows Update.
